What is this? A separate boom microphone that plugs into the headphones' 3.5 mm jack. The other end goes to a computer or game console. An adapter is included for machines where the mic and headphones have separate jacks.
What do you get? A directional boom mic, a mute button and a volume wheel. The cable is about two metres. The Bluetooth delay disappears, which matters more to a gamer than style.
Why not just buy wired headphones? Because noise cancelling stays on, and you do not need a separate pair of headphones for the office or for gaming. The arm bends in front of your mouth. Stuck up your nose, it is of very little use.
